      £24,000 - £25,000 Location: Essex Product: Ingredients Ref: 8690

      This role is working for a successful BRC AA Graded food manufacturer.

      The company produces high-quality food products and exceptional service - enabling their food manufacturing customers to innovate and increase productivity without compromising on quality.

      About the Customer Services Advisor job

      As Customer Services Advisor, you will be part of a small and friendly customer services team.

      You will assist with customer orders, queries and complaints by both phone and email and communicate with the Sales Managers to deliver a great customer service experience. This is a hybrid role offering one day from home post probation period.

      Key tasks

      • Process new orders and amendments for customers.
      • Advise customers of stock, lead times and delivery dates.
      • Maintain customer databases with names, addresses and delivery requirements.
      • Update trade agreement prices with the assistance of the Sales Managers.
      • Keep stock records updated to provide accurate records.
      • Liaise with local transport companies to book collections/deliveries.
      • Liaise with the Transport Manager and the warehouse team regarding the dispatch of orders.

      About You

      • Good administration and customer services experience, most ideally within a food manufacturing or similar FMCG business
      • This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent organisation skills.
      • Confident communication skills (both verbal and written) to establish productive relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
      • IT literate including Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook etc.

      The Customer Services Advisor job is based in Colchester and is paying between £24,000 - £25,000 according to your experience. This is a hybrid role offering one day from home post probation period.

      The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm with 1 hour for lunch.
