Process Technologist

About the Process Technologist job
The purpose of your role will be to ensure the smooth transition of its products from concept to launch, as well as identifying improvement within the factory which delivers efficiencies for the business.
Key tasks
- Undertake trials in-line with the company and customer requirements and secure and submit appropriate samples for analysis and customer approval.
- Plan and organise resources to achieve the day-to-day delivery of trials etc, in-line with project timescales.
- Work closely with NPD and Operations to deliver right first time products and accurately document all data from trials and other processes.
- Contribute at the gated launch process to ensure products are produced on time in full and implement improvements as necessary.
- Be involved in understanding and evaluating innovative processes / ingredients that the company is involved in.
- Carry out ongoing process validation of relevant factory equipment to ensure site due diligence requirements are met.
- To operate in a safe working manner and support the site and business on continuous improvement.
About You
The successful candidate shall have excellent problem-solving abilities and project management skills, a drivers license would be preferable and experience within a food manufacturing environment and a degree of relevant nature.
- Food safety level 3 & HACCP level 3 would be beneficial.
- Possibly experience working in pH-controlled product environment making sauces.
- Customer management experience would be an advantage.

The Process Technologist job is based in Berkshire and is paying up to £28,000 according to your experience.
