About the Warehouse Administrator job
The purpose of your role will be to ensure the accuracy of stock within the companies’ software system and ensure the necessary level of stock is maintained on site and be responsible for associated administrative duties.
Key tasks
- Ensure that the stock on the company’s software system is accurate, record any discrepancies, carry out investigations where necessary, and be responsible for identifying stock that requires rotation and stock at risk.
- Establish controls and procedures for the movement of stock, work with personnel to create forecasts and ensure raw materials are available to satisfy customer and production needs.
- Ensure BoMs are maintained accurately, reporting any variations, be responsible for warehouse locations and maintain lot codes and best before information.
- Report on waste figures and advise production planner and customer service on shortages and make accurate records.
- Producing delivery notes, printing labels for orders ready for dispatch, book delivery slots and assign shipment numbers.
About You
- The successful candidate shall have experience within stock control and accurate processing, and high-end IT skills predominantly with Microsoft Excel.
- You should be a natural problem solver and an excellent communicator at all levels both written and verbally.
- Works effectively to pressure and deadlines and a keen eye for detail, aswell as working independently and a team contributor.

The Warehouse Administrator job (ref:8947) is paying £25,000 according to your experience.

The working hours are Monday to Thursday - 8am to 4.30pm and Friday - 7.30am to 3pm.
The site is based in Wigan, Greater Manchester and is commutable from Manchester, Bolton, Warrington, Preston, Ormskirk, St Helens, Chorley and Bury, along with other areas of Lancashire and Merseyside.
