About the Senior Development Technologist job

The purpose of your role will be to consistently ensure the effectiveness of factory processes aligns with business needs, consistently meeting, improving, and exceeding customer expectations.

Key tasks

Lead recipe development and product innovation from concept through to launch, including factory trials and initial costings.
Manage NPD projects, liaised with suppliers, and supported customer engagement through presentations and development updates.
Oversee preproduction and production launches, benchmarking sessions, and identified market growth opportunities.
Contribute to strategic planning and cross-functional coordination.

About You

The successful candidate shall be educated to degree level – Food Science/Nutrition or equivalent.
You should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in NPD in the food manufacturing sector and experience leading trials in a commercially run factory.

The site is in North London and is commutable from Ilford, Hackney, Waltham Cross and Potters Bar and surrounding areas.

The package includes 25 days holiday and pension, and the site is open weekdays only, with closure over the Christmas period. The working hours are Monday to Friday .
