      Technical Assistant

      to £32,000 Location: Wiltshire Product: Chilled Ref: 8730

      With decades of experience, this award-winning food manufacturer distributes both nationally and also exports globally, both their own and third-party food.

      About the Technical Assistant job

      The aim of this role is to maintain the Quality Management System and ensure that it meets the company quality and regulatory targets of the company. 

      Key tasks

      • Write and assist with training out new procedures in line with BRC and customer expectations.
      • Ensure that the site is audit ready and assist with BRC, Organic, Halal and customer audits.
      • Provide technical input and communicate the investigation and resolution of product non-conformities.
      • Lead with NPD and Process Development on new and existing products.

      About You

      It is essential that you have experience within the FMCG, food or drink sector.  In addition:

      • Proven experience of working within a BRC accredited site.
      • Experience of BRC site accreditation audits and customer visits/audits.
      • Labelling regulation experience would be beneficial.

      The Technical Assistant job is based in Wiltshire and is paying up to £32,000 according to your experience.

      The package includes a good pension, life cover, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and guaranteed Christmas and New Year off.

      The working hours are Monday to Friday, office hours.
