The business is dedicated to innovation and is strategically placed in multiple UK locations to effectively service its customers through delivering quality products.

      About the Quality Executive job

      The purpose of your role will be to support the Brand Quality Manager to ensure that the company’s quality, food and product safety standards are met for product launches whilst supplier due diligence is maintained.  

      Key tasks

      • Conduct new supplier approval audits and existing supplier visits.
      • Determine regulatory change and communicate this in support of product safety, risk mitigation and responsible retailing areas.
      • Monitor product quality complaints and develop Quality Improvement plans to reduce complaints.
      • Collate finished product quality assessment data, reporting and tracking improvements where required and ensure improvement plans are implemented.
      • Review appropriate legislation and ensure that key information and applications are communicated internally and with partner companies as well as to relevant stakeholders.

      About You

      You must have 1-2 years’ experience within a technical team working on food products together with a Food Science or Food Technology degree to be considered for this role.  You should also have:

      • Knowledge and experience in BRC and other food safety audits.
      • Complaints handling experience.
      • The ability to travel to European countries for supplier audits (around one or two nights per month).
      • HACCP qualification (Level 3 minimum).

      The Quality Executive job is based in London and is paying up to £40,000 plus bonus according to your experience.

      There is a hybrid element to this job and the working hours are Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
