About the Development Baker job

The purpose of your role will be to create and manage all initial recipe ideas that are produced in the test bakery.

Key tasks

Be instrumental in the process of procuring new ingredients, from inspiration to usage, always keeping restrictions and implications in mind.
Oversee and facilitating customer product samples and liaise all requests with the sales team.
Take a lead in facilitating production trials and resulting product samples for testing and customer sign off.
Be responsible for ensuring that activities meet and integrate with organisational requirements for quality, health and safety, legal compliance, policies and procedures and general duty of care and corporate responsibility.

About You

You will need good bakery experience having worked extensively with dough. In addition:

Good knowledge of ingredients and their applications
An eye on market trends
Flair and creativity

The Development Baker job (ref 9116) is based in Slough, Berkshire and is paying £38,000 according to your experience.

The package includes 23 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, 24hrs Remote GP, Benefit Hub and statutory pension.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm.
