About the Warehouse Manager job
The purpose of the role is to take responsibility for overseeing the night warehouse operation, managing team performance, planning resources, maintaining service levels, and ensuring effective communication across departments and shifts.
Key tasks
- Lead and develop the warehouse team, setting clear expectations, manage performance, provide coaching and support ongoing training to ensure the team remains engaged, productive and capable of meeting operational demands.
- Plan labour and resources effectively, coordinating warehouse activities and ensure customer orders are picked, loaded and dispatched accurately and on time. Always be proactive in identifying challenges, maintaining productivity and ensuring the warehouse remains organised, safe and prepared for future shifts.
- Working closely with other departments, always ensure clear communication across shifts and provide effective handovers to support operational continuity. Support stock accuracy through regular checks, investigations and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing errors and improving efficiency.
About You
- The successful candidate shall have previous warehouse experience within a leadership role, ideally in the foodservice, wholesale or FMCG industry.
- A full UK driver’s license is required; a current forklift certification would be advantageous.

The Warehouse Manager job (ref:9074) is paying £38,000 - £42,000 according to your experience.
The working hours are Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday. Typical working hours will be between 6:00pm and 2:00am and 10:00pm and 6:00am, with flexibility required to provide visibility across the full operation..
