About the Senior NPD Technologist job

The purpose of your role will be to develop new products and technologies that support key customer requirements and drive targeted business growth.

Key tasks

• Act as a key support to the Product Manager across all new product development activities by delivering reactive, bespoke NPD solutions tailored to key customer requirements and drive proactive NPD aligned with market trends to support business growth as well as developing new products using existing production equipment where possible.
• Write and manage recipes and product specifications accurately, explore and apply new ingredients and emerging technologies in product development and plan and execute production trials to support successful NPD launches.
• Maintain direct contact with key industrial and target customer accounts.
• Ensure all NPD procedures are followed in line with company standards and BRC requirements and adhere to HACCP protocols throughout all product development and testing activities.
• Maintain up-to-date, well-organised documentation with full traceability for audit readiness.

About You

• The successful candidate shall have at least 3 years’ experience in a factory process or development role in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of ingredient functionality and food processes, with experience in developing, testing, and evaluating new products.
• Knowledgeable in food safety standards and HACCP procedures.

The Senior NPD Technologist job (ref:9040) is paying £33,000 - £36,000 according to your experience.

The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 16.30pm and & Friday 07.30am - 15.00pm.
