About the Head of Technical job

As a customer focused head of department, you will be responsible for the food safety and legality of manufactured products and compliance to customer codes of practice and industry guidelines.

Key tasks

Responsible for all company technical teams.
Responsible for ensuring site standards comply with customer expectations.
Ensure the departmental managers have agreed KPI’s and ensure a culture of continuous improvement.
Work collaboratively with the other team members to deliver the business objectives.
Support good health and safety working practices in the department.

About You

You will need to be well-experienced within a technical capacity in food manufacturing. In addition:
Excellent team and people management skills and experience.
Experience of dealing with UK retailers and BRC standards and audits.
Degree educated with HACCP and Food Safety Level 4.
A proven track record of continuous improvement and implementation.

The Head of Technical job (ref:9000) is paying £80,000 according to your experience.

The site is based in Berkshire and is commutable from areas of Berkshire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire.
