About the National Account Manager job
The purpose of your role will be to drive B2B customer relationships and deliver sales, revenue, and profit targets. It requires strong negotiation, forecasting, and collaboration skills.
Key tasks
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts while developing new business in line with company strategy.
- Build strong relationships within the foodservice sector and lead joint business planning.
- Communicate customer needs, including NPD briefs and sample feedback, to internal teams.
- Oversee pricing, conduct regular reviews, and negotiate terms to maintain healthy margins aswell as delivering accurate sales forecasts.
About You
The successful candidate shall have a proven background as an Account Manager within Food Manufacturing or FMCG sales.
Alongside managing key accounts, you’ll have a strong track record of gaining and retaining new business.
Commercially astute and results-driven, you excel at building genuine customer relationships, collaborating across teams, and bringing a positive, hands-on approach with a can-do attitude.

The National Account Manager job (ref:8931) is paying £35,000 - £60,000 + bonus according to your experience.
The site is based in Herefordshire and is commutable from Ludlow, Worcester, Hereford, Abergavenny, Brecon and surrounding areas.
The package includes Life Assurance, Pension, 25 days holiday, generous bonus scheme.
The working hours are Monday to Friday standard Office hours.
