Supply Chain Manager

About the Supply Chain Manager job
Your role will be to manage the team’s performance to analyse and formulate production plans and inbound deliveries to keep stock at optimum levels to meet business and customer needs.
You will be responsible for all on-site and 3rd party logistics, supply chain and stock management - ensuring that each stage of the distribution process is progressing on time, on budget and to the right standards.
Utilising all business resources, you will continually improve the customer experience across all Supply Chain Streams, leading the team to promote a culture of engagement, continuous improvement, and exceeding customer expectations.
Key Accountabilities:
- Establish and lead end-to-end supply chain activities with the objective of designing the optimum supply chain.
- Develop partnerships with suppliers and customers to deliver optimum cost and service.
- Lead the stock, SOP and forecasting team’s implementation and execution of the supply chain management processes.
- Ensure that suppliers achieve the required level of performance in line with purchasing requirements.
About you
- Strong supply chain, planning, purchasing, warehouse, or logistics related experience within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Educated to a Degree/HND level or equivalent qualifications in a supply chain capacity is desirable.
- Training / Qualifications relating to Continuous Improvements & Management would be highly beneficial.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing, developing and mentoring staff to achieve their full potential.

The Supply Chain Manager job is based in Essex and is paying £45,000 - £50,000 according to your experience.
The working hours are Monday to Friday.
