      About the IT Support Engineer job

      The purpose of your role will be to provide 1st line technical support to telephone requests, email requests and on-site requests from users.

      Key tasks

      • Provided advanced troubleshooting for hardware and software issues, collaborating with senior IT staff and external partners on escalations and critical incidents.
      • Supported on-site installations and break-fix scenarios for networking, servers, and cloud platforms, working closely with senior IT professionals.
      • Managed incident resolution and outages in partnership with senior staff, ensuring smooth operations during critical situations.
      • Delivered user training and assisted with new system rollouts, coordinating efforts with external IT partners for seamless implementation.

      About You

      • You should have 1 – 2 years’ experience working in IT in a first line role with the desire to move ahead.
      • Willingness to be flexible and adaptable in all situations and a thirst for knowledge and learning.
      • Amazing communication skills, both internally and in a customer service situation.
      • A driving license & access to own transport is required due to the sites dual locations.

      The IT Support Engineer job (ref:8767) is based in Essex or London and is paying £25,000 to £27,000 according to your experience.

      The package includes full training and support from a friendly team as well as industry recognized qualifications.  

      Travel to other sites is required.

      The working hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
