About the Technical Manager job
The purpose of your role will be to support, mentor, implement, achieve, and drive a process to continually improve food safety, legality and quality management and to maintain standards in line with BRC, customer requirements, UK legislation and due diligence.
Key tasks
- Ensure product safety, quality, legality.
- Ensure that the company and suppliers meet BRC and other food standards.
- Maintain & develop the company QMS and ensure that they are always “audit ready”.
- Continually review, improve and update the HACCP system.
- Support, manage, train & mentor the technical team to maintain standards.
About You
Previous experience as a Technical Manager is desirable but this could also be a step-up opportunity for the right person.
- Proven success around BRC Audits is essential as is experience of fresh produce.
- Experience managing a team and HR practices.
- Good communication skills – both verbal and written.

The Technical Manager job is based in West London and is paying to £45,000 according to your experience.
The package includes 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, employee discounts, enhanced sick pay and pension.
The working hours are Monday – Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm but with some flexibility.
