About the Technical Coordinator / Technical Manager job
The purpose of your role will be to drive BRCGS standards and systems throughout the site plus continuously review and improve existing procedures throughout the production & warehouse processes.
Key tasks
- Oversee all food safety processes and ensure compliance with BRCGS, Organic, Halal, and Kosher certifications, including product specifications, swabbing, and sampling.
- Handle allergen management, pest control, and supplier service approvals, ensuring accurate documentation and food safety process management.
- Lead monthly management meetings on food safety, quality, and legal issues, investigate complaints, implement corrective actions, and liaise with customer representatives.
- Perform daily food safety checks, manage records, conduct recall testing, and handle the induction and training of new employees.
About You
- Previous experience and established technical & food safety knowledge within the food manufacturing industry is vital for this role.
- Good experience of BRCGS standards and systems.
- Ideally you will be a Lead Auditor with NEBOSH / IOSH Qualifications plus Advanced HACCP and Food Hygiene certifications.
