      About the Production Administrator job

      The purpose of your role will be to manage production documents, and ensure product safety, health and safety requirements and other checks as per the company guidelines and associated legal stipulations.

      Key tasks

      • Ensure that all production paperwork and works orders are collated, audited, maintained in good condition, and archived accurately and provide general administration support to the production department all within a timely manner.
      • To ensure that accurate product labels are produced with accuracy.
      • Communicate openly with departmental supervisors and managers on issues concerning errors on paperwork and to assist in resolving them.
      • Maintain compliance within all necessary arears such as health & safety, areas of hygiene, housekeeping, food safety, traceability, allergen management, legality and quality are always met and ensure that all tasks are carried out safely and in a safe working environment.
      • Carry out new staff induction training and input employee’s attendance and manage holiday requests and support return to work process.

      About You

      The successful candidate shall have experience as an administrator ideally within a food manufacturing setting.

      • A strong communicator at all levels both written and verbally.
      • Excellent IT skills and a deep knowledge of Microsoft Office.
      • Can work independently and prioritise workload and manage several tasks at a time.

      The Production Administrator job is based in Essex and is paying £25,500 according to your experience.

      The package includes a paid lunch, plus £26 per week attendance bonus for any weeks where no sick days are taken. Salary including attendance allowance is £25,500.

      The working hours are 6am-2pm Mon-Fri (but with flexibility for working 2pm-10pm in the future).
