About the Senior NPD Technologist job

The Senior NPD Technologist role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual.

There is a lot of scope for innovation as you will have the opportunity to work on flavour profiles from scratch, plus the chance to manage your own NPD projects.

Key tasks:

• Recipe development and innovation.
• Project management of NPD briefs from concept to launch.
• Arranging and conducting factory trials.
• Customer contact and care during development.
• Overseeing preproduction and production launches.
• Completing initial product costings.
• Customer presentations.
• Meeting with suppliers.
• Leading benchmarking sessions.
• Identifying potential for market growth.
• Deputise for NPD Manager as required.

Skills & experience required for the Senior NPD Technologist job

You will be a confident project manager, with a clear sense of timescales and urgency to effectively lead and manage projects working with cross functional teams to support the delivery of NPD from concept to launch.

• Educated to degree level – Food Science/Nutrition or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in NPD in the food manufacturing sector.
• Experience leading trials in a commercially run factory.
• Passion for food and trends.

The Senior NPD Technologist job is based in North London and is paying £28,000 - £35,000 according to your experience.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm.
