We are seeking a talented individual to work for a leading, independent fresh produce supplier

The purpose of the Maintenance Engineer is to ensure day-to-day maintenance and engineering activities run smoothly to ensure optimum performance levels are achieved and sustained.
- Maintenance of boilers and heating systems.
- Maintenance of all nursery equipment (trollies, sprayers, chargers, and batteries).
- Irrigation System Maintenance including reservoirs, pumps etc.
- Fabricating, welding etc.
- General plumbing works.
- Electrical works.
- Installation of new equipment and structures.
To be considered for the Maintenance Engineer job, you will possess previous engineering experience, within a fresh produce production, growing or similar environment.
You will be competent in both electrical and mechanical engineering activities together with knowledge of gas boilers and equipment associated with crop growing.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills are essential, together with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
The Maintenance Engineer job is based in West Sussex and is paying £30,000 - £35,000 according to experience.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, with the flexibility to work the occasional Saturday morning plus some on-call (on a rota).
