      Interim Supply Chain Manager

      Negotiable DOE Location: East Sussex Product: Prepared Ref: 62920

      The role is working for a highly successful manufacturer which is dedicated to producing the highest quality and natural products, which are supplied to customers all over the UK.

      The job

      You will be responsible for overseeing and managing every stage of the production flow, from purchasing of raw materials to the delivery of the final product.

      You will ensure the right amount of product is made at the right time, forecasting trends and managing inventories to organise the movement of goods from distribution centres to customers and stores.

      Your experience

      You will possess a strong supply chain track record within a manufacturing environment, most ideally FMCG or food manufacturing.

      Solid relationship management skills are essential, together with the ability to negotiate with suppliers, excellent analytical, planning and forecasting skills plus be able to identify risks and improvement opportunities throughout the entire supply chain.

      IT skills including Microsoft Office and a good understanding of accounting/finance principles will also be required.

      A driving licence is needed due to company location.

      The Interim Supply Chain Manager job is based in East Sussex and is paying a negotiable pro-rata salary or a day rate according to individual experience.

      This is a short-term, interim contract until the recruitment process is completed for a permanent candidate.

      The working hours are Monday to Friday.
