Technical Support Officerup to £26,000 Location: West Midlands Product: Prepared food Ref: 62488
You will be working with a manufacturer and supplier of frozen prepared products to the foodservice industry. They are a well-established business with an impressive range of innovative products.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the purpose of your role is to ensure all technical related documentation is correct and complete. Reviewing trends and potential non-conformities to support corrective actions.
You will be responsible for maintaining the quality policy and procedure manual, ensuring all documentation complies with 3rd party standards e.g. BRC and reviewing supplier & product speciﬁcations.
You will also monitor health and safety issues and customer complaint handling, oversee internal audits and be a key member of the HACCP, crisis management and food defence team.
To be considered for the Technical Support Officer job, you will ideally be educated to a degree level in a food science, food technology or similar discipline.
You will possess experience working in a similar technical position within food manufacturing.
Internal auditing experience and an understanding of BRC requirements are both desirable plus you will ideally hold a minimum of HACCP Level 2.
The Technical Support Officer job is based in the West Midlands and is paying up to £26,000.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30 am – 5 pm.
