Quality Systems Manager£35,000 - £40,000 Location: Aberdeenshire Product: Chilled Ref: 62252
This role Is working for a highly innovative, private label manufacturer of chilled and frozen products which pride themselves on the quality of products, service level and reliability. Their success is credited to their ability to closely monitor market trends, allowing them to create products which meet consumer and customer needs.
The Quality Systems Manager is responsible for the development and maintenance of all policies and procedures that form the Quality Management System, to ensure that the business fulfils its requirements and the requirements of customers.
You will manage documentation within the Food Safety & Quality and HACCP manuals, conduct supplier risk assessments and keep supplier technical documents up to date, manage raw material and packaging material specifications, manage internal audits, keep up to date with all third-party requirements i.e. BRC, RSPO and manage corresponding audits plus ensure all non-conformances from both internal and external audits are resolved.
You will possess a solid technical track record from within the food manufacturing industry, ideally within high-risk chilled food products, together with excellent working knowledge of internal auditing, food legislation, HACCP and BRC. You will ideally be a holder of Food Safety Level 4 and HACCP Level 3. A full UK driving licence is required plus the ability to travel on occasion.
The Quality Systems Manager job is based in the Aberdeenshire region and is paying £35,000 - £40,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, although some flexibility is required.
