Packing Room Manager£25,000 - £28,000 Location: Home Counties Product: Ambient Ref: 62286
You will be working for an extremely successful and well-established manufacturer which is dedicated to producing high quality, luxury products combined with exceptional service, enabling customers to both innovate and increase productivity without compromising on quality.
As Packing Room Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the packing room and related operational decisions to ensure quality, safety and efficiency plus support the ongoing development and execution of improvement plans to include cost efficiencies, stock management, order taking, work flow & team management.
You will manage, train and motivate the packing room team, organise workloads to ensure all orders are prepared accurately, perform quality checks on completed orders, manage & order stock/packaging as required, forecast stock according to orders and workflow and keep close liaison with the QA/Technical team ensure conformity of work practices for due diligence and all industry audits.
To be considered for the Packing Room Manager role, you will have experience of both food packing/production together with strong staff supervision/management skills. You will be a clear communicator, be passionate about upholding quality standards plus be a good team player who can work well with key stakeholders. You will be IT literate including Excel, Word Outlook etc. and SAP knowledge is beneficial. Food Safety awareness/qualifications is also desirable.
The Packing Room Manager job is based in the Home Counties region and is paying £25,000 - £28,000 plus benefits including KPI and profit share bonus, discount on products and health scheme.
