Production Supervisor (Nights)

You will be working for a fast-growing brand name which is passionate about using the best ingredients to produce delicious, chilled products using traditional methods. Their innovative products are supplied to major retailers all throughout the UK.

The job

Reporting to the Production Shift Manager, your job will be to ensure production targets are met to the required quality standards whilst delivering in the key performance areas of H&S, GMP, cost, material usage, productivity, efficiency and waste levels.

Leading a team of 10, you will assist in planning and utilising resources, monitor and control wastage, build a motivated and engaged team, ensure all staff training is up to date, manage quality and hygiene standards in the food production area plus identify possible cost-saving and continuous improvement opportunities.

You will also effectively manage your food production team, instilling a culture of professionalism, team working and supportive ethos within the entire team.

Your experience

To be considered for the Production Supervisor job, you will possess excellent production management/team leading experience within a food manufacturing environment (essential).

You will have good working knowledge of production KPI’s and possess a proven ability to motivate and foster a positive learning and working environment.

Qualifications/training such as management leadership, Train the Trainer or lean manufacturing would be highly desirable.

More details

The Production Supervisor job is based in West Sussex and is paying up to £29,400, according to individual experience, with annual set salary increases.

This is a night shift role working 4 nights on, 4 nights off, 7 pm – 7 am.
