      An exciting and rewarding position has just become available, working for an extremely passionate, award-winning business which is dedicated to producing only the highest quality and great tasting products.

      Having already undergone tremendous success, the business has ambitious growth plans for 2020 and is looking for a talented individual to share in their vision.

      The job

      The business hand cooks their meals to perfection and this role is at the heart of what they do: assisting with the entire process of making delicious meals. From picking ingredients in the warehouse, to prepping, cooking, working with a talented chef team to follow recipes, and continuously working on serving-up all dishes.

      Working in a state-of-the-art facility and alongside a team of chefs, kitchen porters, platers and mixers to produce delicious meals, each and every time.

      Your experience

      The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a clear passion and for food and creating fantastic, great tasting products together with at least 6 months practical experience in a commercial kitchen or food production environment (ready meals manufacturing experience is a huge plus).

      You will keen to take on a challenge, learn new skills and always be looking for improvement. You will also be a great team player with excellent communication skills.

      The Food Production Kitchen Assistant job is based in the London region and is paying £21,000 - £22,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.

      The company offers excellent perks including 24 days holiday (+ 8 bank holidays), pension plan, stock options, career development plan, quarterly socials and weekly staff-led activities.

      The working hours are Monday to Friday, 6 am – 2 pm or 2 pm – 10 pm.
