      Having already undergone tremendous success, the business has ambitious growth plans for 2020 and is looking for a talented individual to share in their vision.

      The job

      The purpose of your role as Deputy Lead Chef, will be to assist with and oversee the prepping, cooking and continuous improvement of all delicious, prepared products made within the food manufacturing unit. All products are hand-cooked to perfection and the Production Chefs are at the heart of the business.

      Working in a team of chefs, kitchen porters, platers and mixers you will lead by example to produce delicious meals, each and every time.

      The company offer a great development program, so you will learn from the best with plenty of opportunity to grow within the business.

      Your experience

      The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a clear passion and for food and flavours in order to create top quality products.

      You will have practical experience in a kitchen or food production environment (ready meals manufacturing experience is a huge plus) together with line management experience in catering, a commercial kitchen, or food manufacturing.

      You will keen to take on a challenge, learn new skills and always be looking for improvement. You will also be a great team player with excellent communication skills.

      The Deputy Lead Chef job is based in the London region and is paying £23,0000 - £27,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.

      The company offers excellent perks including 32 days holiday, pension plan, stock options, career development plan, quarterly socials and weekly staff-led activities.

      The working hours are Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm or 2pm – 10pm.
