Quality Manager£30,000 - £35,000 Location: South West Product: Frozen Ref: 62588
You will be working for a well-established, family run business which pride themselves on creating and supplying the highest quality products to retailers, foodservice and specialist outlets throughout the UK.
As Quality Manager, the purpose of your role is to manage the site quality function and ensure all procedures are carried out in accordance with the Quality and HACCP systems, policies and objectives.
You will implement, develop and maintain systems throughout the production site, participate with site BRC Food Safety audits, act as the main technical contact with third party auditors, promote and drive site quality standards, assist in customer complaint management, manage non-conformances, manage the site pest control, conduct and manage internal QA audits plus manage equipment calibrations and microbiology testing including analysis and investigation of results.
You will possess good QA experience within the food manufacturing industry, most preferably within dairy related products.
You will be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of QMS, HACCP and BRC standards and excellent communication and organisations skills are essential.
A UK valid driving licence is also required due to site location.
The Quality Manager job is based in the South West region and is paying £30,000 - £35,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30 am – 5 pm.
