Technical Coordinator£22,000 - £24,000 Location: South East Product: Prepared Ref: 61731
This job is working for a very well-established and respected manufacturer supplying into the retailer and food service markets as well as other food manufacturers. Always at the forefront of product development and innovation they have continually invested in new facilities and the latest technologies.
Reporting to the Technical Manger, as Technical Coordinator, you will be a key part of the office technical team within the business.
You will authorise raw materials, manage product shelf life information, set up and authorise product data, manage plant cleaning instruction documents, complete product specifications in both customer and in-house formats, set up and issue product line sheets for the factory, be a key point of contact for technical enquiries for both supplier and customer and also manage taste panels for finished product and raw materials.
Ideally degree educated, you will have previous experience of working in a technical administration or closely related role within the food industry. You will ideally have knowledge of writing and/or approving specifications, have high attention to detail and be able to work with a high level of accuracy. You will also be a holder of Level 2 qualification in Food Safety and HACCP. You will be computer literate with the ability to collate and trend data.
The Technical Coordinator job is based in the South East region and is paying £22,000 - £24,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (finish 4.30pm on Friday).
