Customer Supply Chain / Commercial Executive£35,000 - £40,000 Location: London Product: Prepared Ref: 61825
We are seeking a talented and ambitious individual to work for a small but rapidly growing business. This company supplies high quality, internationally prepared foods and snack products to a high-end retailer.
This is a key role that is integral to the day to day running of the business and its ability to grow. The main focus will be planning, forecasting and problem solving. It will ultimately suit a candidate with ambitions to take on Account Management responsibilities as they develop in the role.
You will have day to day involvement in the management of a large account and regular face to face customer contact/relationship management.
You will maintain and improve the long-term forecasting system, use this to provide guidance to the factory team and logistics partners to ensure perfect planning, undertake sales capture and analysis using IRI Worldwide Unify database (specific training available, but must understand POS data) and provide insight which will guide product development direction and commercial opportunity.
You must have in-depth knowledge of the food retail industry and their supply chains, ideally within the chilled/frozen sectors. You must have a good track record, gained within or supplying a major retailer and some exposure to the food service industry would also be an asset. If you are someone with a planning background that wants to work towards account management, you would be ideally suited to this role.
The Customer Supply Chain / Commercial Executive job is based in the London region and is paying £35,000 - £40,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, office hours.
