This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a highly experienced and creative technical team in a fast moving and demanding but rewarding food category.
As Bakery & Confectionery Development Technologist, your role is to support customers in the UK with innovative product concepts and technical solutions.
You will also support other sites with promotional activities, create and promote new product concepts, sample developments and flavour recommendations, work on pro-active local initiatives, maintain existing business, identify opportunities and expand the customer base.
We are looking for a passionate and driven individual who is educated to a BSc degree level in a food science, food technology or chemistry related discipline together with experience working with bakery, desserts and/or confectionery product development. Essentially, you will possess a strong passion for food, be a creative self-starter and have excellent relationship building skills.
The Bakery & Confectionery Development Technologist job is based in the East Anglia region and is paying up to £45,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.45am – 5.15pm (4pm finish on a Friday).
