      The job

      This is a newly created position which has responsibility of crafting the equipment strategy. Your role will sit on the cutting edge of the business, combining analytical thinking, creativity and execution across multiple platforms.

      As Equipment & Innovation Manager, you will design/source, develop, validate and implement new innovative equipment platforms that can transform operations. Reporting to the Head of Equipment and Engineering, you will have direct responsibility for developing new equipment innovation, driving commercial efficiency (TCIU), owning vendor relationships, managing substantial budgets and will be a key central contact for the business across the globe on equipment innovation.

      Your experience

      We are looking for a self-starter and practical individual who is degree educated in a product design, engineering, mechanical or production/manufacturing related discipline. Together with excellent technical knowledge preferably within hospitality / catering, you will have experience effectively engaging with customers to assess process improvement areas and commercial catering equipment needs. This is not a hard sales role, you will have a supportive and consultative approach, always putting the customer first to build long-lasting and profitable business relationships.
