      Graduate NPD Technologist

      £20,000 - £25,000 + benefits + relocation Location: South West Product: Chilled Ref: 61603

      This well established, leading food manufacturer which supplies in to the major multiples, is currently seeking a Graduate NPD Technologist to work with their busy and talented team. The company boasts a product range which is varied with an array of bestselling famous brands within their international business.

      The job

      The company has experienced rapid growth, doubling the size of the business in the last 4 years with continued growth aspirations for the coming years, therefore this is a fantastic time to join the team.

      Reporting to the Innovation Manager, this role supports the development and optimisation of the company’s product range in line with the strategy defined for the business.

      You will assist with the new products launch projects from the initial concept to launch in the factory, ensure adherence to critical paths for each project, assist with packaging development, be a part of factory trials identifying areas for improvement and assist factory to resolve any problems arising from product recipe and process.

      Your experience

      You will be educated to a degree level in a food science, food technology or nutrition discipline and any previous NPD experience from either an industry placement or full-time role would be a benefit. You will be passionate about food innovation, have a hands-on working approach and be looking to join a business where you can grow and develop your food development career.

      The Graduate NPD Technologist role is based in the South West region and is paying £20,000 - £25,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus benefits including company contributory pension, optical care, wellbeing tests, childcare vouchers, 25 days holiday + bank holidays and more. The company can also provide relocation support for the first 3 months.

      The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm, however flexibility will be required to accommodate factory trials and company needs.
