Graduate QA Technicianup to £20,000 Location: North West Product: Chilled Ref: 61128
This role is working for a leading UK private label manufacturer and supplier. With a long product tradition, the business produces one of the highest quality ranges in the market supplied almost exclusively to the leading grocery retailers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a food graduate who wants to gain wide and varied experience in a manufacturing environment.
As QA Technician you will compile and issue process control records and quality standards, attend trials and product launches, audit and monitor food safety, quality and legality within the factory, carry out internal auditing, investigate customer complaints, ensure technical systems are in place, organise / attend QC panels on site and ensure corrective actions are followed up, carry out swabbing including micro and allergen plus ensure the factory is to the best GMP standards ready for unannounced audits / customer visits.
You will be educated to a degree standard in a food science/technology discipline and any food manufacturing experience gained within a university placement or full time role is highly beneficial, we would also like to hear from individuals who are due to graduate this year. Previous experience and/or knowledge of food safety standards (e.g. BRC), auditing and HACCP would also be an advantage. To succeed in this role, you will essentially have an undeniable passion for food and have the eagerness to learn and grow within your role.
The QA Technician job is based in the North West region and is paying up to £20,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.
