Night Shift QA Assistant£21,250 Location: Home Counties / East Midlands Product: Prepared Ref: 61082
You will be working within a brand new manufacturing facility, for a well-established business which strives to produce an exceptional range of high quality, great tasting products. As Night Shift QA Assistant, the purpose of your role is to manage food safety and quality throughout the night shift and enforce BRC and customer standards on the factory floor. You will complete routine audits, swabbing, taste panel, cleaning supervision, QAS (Quality Attributes System) and testing & sampling, monitor staff hygiene and factory hygiene, monitor quality procedures and ensure they are being followed, ensure staff have a clear understanding of hygiene standards and practices, ensure that any weaknesses in production practices are highlighted to the managers, ensure that internal audits are carried out in a timely manner and corrective actions followed up plus follow up customer complaints assisting with investigation.
We are seeking a committed and positive individual with a minimum of 2 years quality assurance experience in a food production environment. You will be a holder of HACCP / Food Safety Level 3 certificate, have GCSEs in English and Maths and any experience of working within high care or prepared chilled products is highly desirable. To succeed in this role, you will have the drive and ambition to develop a successful QA career in the food manufacturing industry.
The Night Shift QA Assistant job is based in the Home Counties / East Midlands region and is paying £21,250 plus performance related bonus. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 10pm – 6am.
