Production Managerup to £45,000 Location: West Midlands Product: Prepared Ref: 61354
You will be working with a manufacturer and supplier of frozen prepared products to the foodservice industry. They are a well-established business with an impressive range of innovative products.
The Production Manager is a shop floor based role to take responsibility of all the daily production issues in order to ensure the highest quality and customer service at the lowest cost.
You will be responsible for the assigned production area, staff and equipment, achieving the daily production plan, achieving the daily productivity targets, maintaining the highest hygiene and housekeeping standards, handling all personnel issues, conducting staff appraisals, staff holiday management and developing a culture of continuous improvement of quality and service.
To be considered for the Production Manager job, you will have proven production management experience from within a food manufacturing environment, most preferably chilled/frozen prepared foods. You will have excellent planning, organisational and communication skills and possess a responsible, committed and positive approach. Being educated to a degree level is also desirable.
The Production Manager job is based in West Midlands and is paying up to £45,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus 25 days holiday. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 7.00am – 5.00pm.
