Development Technologist£25,000 - £30,000 Location: Home Counties / East Anglia Product: Ambient Ref: 61061
We are seeking a talented individual to join an innovative, high quality manufacturer which supplies to various retailers throughout the UK. You will join a really friendly and supportive team with a fantastic, fun working atmosphere.
As Development Technologist, your job purpose is to carry out innovation and development of new and existing products and to facilitate NPD projects within the company with tasks ranging from R&D work on a small scale through to full scale factory trails and launch. You will maintain the standards for product safety, legality, traceability, quality, hygiene and housekeeping requirements.
You will undertake project management of existing and new product development briefs from concept to launch, research and understand the market/customer base and their processes, carry out customer presentations, assist industrial customers with EPD / product innovation / product value engineering and liaise with the marketing team during brand development and to publish product information bulletins.
You will be educated to a degree standard in a food science/technology discipline and possess previous NPD experience within the food/beverages industry. You will have the ability to deal with a complexity of products, have high attention to detail, be computer literate and possess excellent customer facing communication / presentation skills.
The Development Technologist job is based in the Home Counties / East Anglia region and is paying £25,000 - £30,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday however flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the business.
