The purpose of the QA Technician is to support the Quality Manager with day to day tasks and maintain good manufacturing practices in the factory in accordance with the company procedures and customer standards.
You will be responsible for auditing quality SOPs, HACCP and CCP, monitoring hygiene standards, development of training for production staff and site contractors, investigation of customer complaints and quality related issues and reviewing of customer questionnaires.
This role offers excellent scope for progression within the business and you will be provided with additional development training where required.
You will be educated to a HND/degree level in a food related discipline plus possess 1-2 years’ food manufacturing experience within a technical / QA role, ideally at a supervisory level. You will have a good working knowledge of internal audits, QA systems, BRC certification and HACCP. You will also be computer literate, be highly organised and have excellent attention to detail.
The QA Technician job is based in the London / South East region and is paying £28,000 - £30,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.
