Hygiene Manager£30,000 Location: Oxfordshire Product: Chilled Ref: 62752
This role is working for an award-winning importer, processer and supplier of high-quality speciality food products. This leading food industry business is dedicated to sourcing and bringing new and innovative products to market, predominantly through retail and foodservice avenues.
The purpose of your role as Hygiene Manager, will be to consistently achieve the highest standards of hygiene by managing a team of trained operatives, whilst ensuring health and food safety legal compliance and GMP standards are adhered to at all times.
- Oversee factory cleanliness and swabbing results
- Ensure agreed procedures and documentation are being followed
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of any hygiene or food safety issues to the Technical Manager
- Maintain & update the site hygiene manual
- Responsibility for the management of all hygiene team members
- Carry out necessary training and regular performance reviews
You will be able to demonstrate good hygiene experience from within a food manufacturing background, together with good knowledge of food industry hygiene working practices i.e. BRC, corrective action closure, internal auditing, food cleaning chemicals.
Previous management experience is highly desirable – this role could suit an existing Hygiene Supervisor looking for progression.
Level 3 HACCP and Level 3 Food Safety & Hygiene are both highly desirable.
You will be flexible, have the ability to communicate at all levels with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
The Hygiene Manager job is based in the Oxfordshire region and is paying £30,000.
The working hours are 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, 4 pm – 12 am (approximately).
