As Technical Manager, the purpose of your role is to recommend, establish and monitor improvements to systems, which will ensure product and process quality standards meet customer expectations, legislative requirements and established industry standards.
You will regularly monitor and audit all aspects of the quality management system, define product and process specifications, ensure that HACCP is established, developed and implemented, manage the supply base and service suppliers plus keep abreast of industry developments, proactively identifying possible future changes to policies and procedures.
You will ideally be degree educated in a food science / technology discipline and possess a strong technical / QA track record within the food manufacturing industry. You will have strong working knowledge of HACCP, BRC, labelling, traceability, internal audits, allergens plus have previously supervised a team. High care product experience is also desirable.
The Technical Manager job is based in Home Counties / South East region and is paying £28,000 - £32,000 depending on individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday.
