      Quality Assurance Champion

      £17,500 Location: Home Counties Product: Prpeared Ref: 61021

      You will be working for a manufacturer of high quality products supplied to some of the biggest names in the foodservice industry. Part of a larger national group, they offer a wide range of products to their customers, including bespoke recipes.

      The job

      As Quality Assurance Champion, the purpose of your role is to verify that manufacturing complies with company technical standards through a systematic regime of auditing, and to act on non-compliances in accordance with the food safety and quality management system procedures. You will carry out regular scheduled audits, raise non-conformances, print and check product labels and dates, carry out QC inspections on final pallets, recording stock levels, take samples for testing plus be active in coaching factory staff in awareness and adherence to technical standards.

      Your experience

      You will ideally possess experience in a similar QA/QC position in the food manufacturing industry OR you may be a recent food science graduate looking for your first step into the food industry. You will have GCSE Maths & English at grade C or above, Food Hygiene Level 2, excellent communication skills and be IT literate including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

      The Quality Assurance Champion job is based in the Home Counties region and is paying £17,500. The working hours will be a shift rotation of 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 9am–5pm (working 1 Saturday morning in 4), however flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the business.
