Our Client, a leading B2B media communications organisation is looking for a talented senior Web Developer to join its IT/technical services team and take responsibility for the development and support of a broad portfolio of websites. This is a business critical role and opportunity to be fully involved in the creation and development of a number of high profile, successful websites. The role involves supporting the ongoing development, change and improvement of existing websites and development of brand new sites. Working in a small team as the primary website developer, you will be required to deliver highly functional, high quality code on a number of application technologies including C# ASP.NET, Coldfusion and ideally Adobe Flex (previous experience would be advantageous, but not essential).
Applicants for the role should have proven experience in a web development role, and must be able to demonstrate a portfolio of previous work. Technically, a broad skill set is required, including strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Working within a Microsoft Windows environment with SQL server and Oracle databases, a thorough knowledge of web standards, search engine optimisation techniques and strong cross browser compatibility skills are also required.
