Working for this well-established manufacturer, your role as Planner / Stock Controller will be to ensure that material stocks are controlled for their designated area’s.  This role is Sunday to Thursday, 7.30am to 4pm

You will work closely with all departments including production, purchasing, commercial and technical.  Through close liaison with suppliers you will ensure that overall service is maintained for the customer.

By processing sales orders into the business system you will forecast and re-plan the following days production.  In order to being considered for this role, you should have advanced Excel skills, have experience in a similar position and be looking to excel in your work.



Warehouse and Picking Supervisorc. £24,000

Your role as Warehouse and Picking Supervisor working for this expanding independent manufacturer will be to manage the overall day-to-day warehouse function.  You will work closely with the operations team to continuously improve performance and meet KPI's through effective communication.

You should have a hands-on approach with a 'can do' attitude in order to ensure that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.  Effective communication skills are essential in order to communicate accurate picking and review performance.

You will be expected to maintain and deliver an accurate stock file at all times and support a culture of continuous improvement through coaching the team.

In order to being considered for this role you should have experience within a warehousing environment have the ability to manage teams through KPI's and have an excellent knowledge of warehousing management systems.  Warehousing / distribution management qualifications and fork lift truck licences would also be desirable.



Packaging Technologistc. £24,000

Your main responsibilities will be to coordinate testing and evaluation of components, communicate proacvtively with all departments including packaging suppliers, resolving non-conformances and follow up corrective actions whilst advising marketing on technical feasibility of product concepts and cost reductions.

You will have excellent organisation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally. You must have experience of working within a similar role from a FMCG environment.

Reporting to the Operations Director, your role as Logistics Controller will be to take responsibility of all the daily stock and transport issues in order to ensure the highest levels of customer service at the lowest cost.

You will be in charge of finished goods stock management, transport issues, raw material stock management and supply chain management.

Working for this progressive and rapidly expanding food processor your role as Head of Procurement will be to manage the whole of the stores and purchasing function. Being a key member of the senior management team and reporting into the Unit Manager you will be responsible for a team of around 10 staff based at 3 different sites.

 
You will be responsible for managing procurement projects and negotiating suitable terms with suppliers to ensure that cost targets are maintained. You will constantly evaluate the market in order to find the highest quality ingredients at the best possible prices, as well as managing existing suppliers to ensure that they constantly deliver and meet the needs of the business.
 
By liaising regularly with your stores team, you will ensure that stock levels and quality is consistently controlled. You will also provide comprehensive procurement advice to your purchasing team in order to consistently meet targets.
 
To be considered for this role you must have an extensive background within a purchasing management role in the food production industry.  You must have experience of purchasing multiple raw materials and fresh ingredients as well as non-consumables e.g. factory equipment, ideally this being gained within a ready meals environment.   Quality is very much the key to this company's products, so negotiating not just the best price but also the highest standard of ingredients is essential.
 

Desirable requirements are a CIPS Qualification, experience with Navision Procurement Solution and Microsoft Office training.
