Your role as Development Technologist working on a 6 month maternity cover contract for this well-established manufacturer will be to assist with the development of successful products from concept through to launch.

You will assist in managing the NPD process for a range of specified accounts and by working closely with the Senior Development Technologist you will ensure that objectives are achieved.

By developing new products in response to customer briefs you will ensure that they meet all commercial, technical and customer requirements.  You will also maintain an awareness of market trends as well as new and innovative ingredients and raw materials.

In order to be considered for this role you should be qualified within a food related subject and have experience within a development role.  You should also have a good understanding of NPD processes and UK retailer systems and procedures.

Process Technologist required for large food manufacturing organisation in the North West.

The successful candidate will be required to ensure the smooth transition of product approval concepts to launch, challenge current factory processes and look for improvements, efficiencies and value engineering. You will also be required to maintain accurate trial records and produce appropriate company paperwork to adhere to the new product development system. This will include generating first draft specifications by means of product launch documents and ensure all projects pass through the NPD system.

In order to be successful in this position you will be required to have an understanding of products, ingredients and processes, be confident and articulate with personnel at all levels, numerate, literate and capable of producing informative concise briefing notes. You will be capable of working accurately and diligently to agreed timescales.

You will also be a self-starter with strong organisation skills and a logical approach.  In addition you will be keen, enthusiastic and diligent in all duties undertaken and will need to build a good rapport with other members of the NPD team and the wider company.

Our client, a chilled foods manufacturer, is seeking a Process Development Technnologist to work in their process and technical department. This is a day based role Monday to Friday.  You will aid the implementation of new products, processes and changes to existing products within the business. You will report in to the Senior Process Technologist and deputise for other member of the process team when needed.

Our client, a leading chilled foods manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Process Development Technologist to work in the technical department.  Reporting into the Process Development Manager you will be resposible for the Process Development Technologists. Your role will be to aid the implementation of new products, processes and changes to existing products within the business, working closely with the purchasing department.
